Me gustan estas fotos promocionales de los años 70 porque parecen bastante auténticas, no posadas o actuadas. Creo que dan una buena idea de lo que uno se podía esperar en un vuelo con Spantax en esa época.
In 1979, Spantax was still one of the main charter operators in Europe. As this brochure insists, backup planes were always ready and a great effort was made to provide a quality service, in line with most European scheduled airlines (some people claim it could be even better).After the 1979 oil crisis, however, things started to go downhill, and a main reason was the high flying costs of the Coronados the airline was using.
Anyhow, I like the almost candid feel of this promo pictures in the late 70's. They do not look as "doctored" as other promotional material and I think you can get a pretty fair glimpse of what was flying with Spantax about.
