In the Winter 92/93 season Aviaco started flights to London and Paris (Frankfurt would be added some years later) from some Spanish airports. Also, the MD-88 was already its flagship and the Fokker 27 were no longer needed, as Binter was taking care of regional flights both in Melilla and the Canary Islands.
I also scanned some officialy published fares, just for the sake of comparation with the current ones. The last page of this timetable included the non-smoking policy at the time: smoking onboard was forbidden ... on domestic flights under 90 minutes. That means, it was possible to smoke on Aviaco flights to European and Canary Islands destinations.
