Biman Bangladesh Airlines (1991/1992)

Por alguna razón que se me escapa, un 747 ilustra la portada de este horario de una aerolínea que operaba por entonces con DC-10 ... (aunque de vez en cuando alquilaba un 747 para los vuelos de peregrinaje a La Meca) Biman es una de las compañías que milagrosamente sigue volando, a pesar de innumerables dificultades y problemas económicos, y hoy lo hace con una flota ligeramente más moderna. La red de destinos internacionales en 1992 era bastante curiosa, incluyendo por ejemplo Atenas en su red europea. Tengo también, pero no a mano, el horario de vuelos domésticos; lo colgaré algún día como una actualización de este post.

Biman was flying long haul with DC-10 equipment, but for some reason a 747 is shown on the cover of their international timetable ... an interesting option, even if Biman rented some 747 from time to time for its Hajj flights. 

This is actually one of those airlines that keeps flying around despite a sheer number of economical woes and other problems ... the international network, nevertheless, was far more interesting in the 90's than it is today, but the fleet has somehow improved since then. I also have the domestic timetable somewhere, I'll post it as an update later on.
