Air Vendée (1991/1992)

En Francia operaban un gran número de pequeñas compañías regionales, aunque lo cierto es que muchas de ellas sobrevivían operando (gran) parte de su red en colaboración con Air France y Air Inter. Air Vendée, con sede en Nantes,  era una de estas compañías que competían en un mercado muy fragmentado, y más tarde se unió a otra empresa (Airlec) para formar ✈Regional Airlines, que a su vez es la antecesora de la actual HOP ! de Air France...

Air Vendée, based at Nantes,  was one of those little French regional carriers. There were lots of them in the 80's and 90's, flying domestically on tiny traffic routes. Most of these carriers, though, relied on some kinf of agreement or partnership with Air France / Air Inter in order to survive. Air Vendée was later merged with Airlec and renamed ✈Regional Airlines, which is the predecessor of the current HOP! regional low cost division of Air France...
