Paper-needing travel

Hoy os traigo algo diferente, una pequeña selección de algunos de los sobres para la documentación de viaje que me he encontrado por casa. Son bastante viejos y aunque ahora tienen su puntituo nostálgico, esta es una de las cosas que me alegro mucho que ya no hagan falta.

La verdad es que desde que tengo uso de razón el mundo del transporte aéreo ha cambiado mucho bastante, y la mayoría de las veces para peor, con mucha diferencia. Pero hay una cosa que realmente fue un cambio maravilloso, y fue la introducción del billete electrónico y más recientemente las tarjetas móviles, y otras ideas parecidas. ¡Bienvenido sea todo lo que consista en evitar tener que acarrear estos pedacitos de papel para subir al avión! Claro que ahora te puedes agobiar igual porque te quedes sin batería para poder mostrar tu tarjeta de embarque móvil, pero eso es otra cuestión ...

A different kind of post today, with some ticket sleeves I found lying around. They are all quite old now and even if they have some nostalgic charm, this is the kind of thing I am glad we got rid of.

We have seen many a few changes in the air travel industry over the years, most of them for the worst, but there is one thing I could not be more happy with: electronic tickets and, later, the introduction of mobile boarding passes and the like. Everything that makes useless a stub of paper in order to board the plane is a very welcomed novelty for me. Of course, you can always be worried for your mobile phone battery to die before you can show your BP, but this is a whole different issue ...
