Sabena (1995/1996), Barcelona

No soy tan friqui, aunque algunos penséis que sí, como para recordar qué aerolínea operaba entre Barcelona y Venecia en 1995 con algún acuerdo de colaboración con Sabena. ¿Puede que fuera Air Dolomiti?  

En todo caso, en esta época las grandes compañías nacionales de la UE, las legacies, estaban obsesionadas con asociarse con cuantas más regionales mejor y por poner su código en todo tipo de conexiones por todo el continente, en un intento de aprovechar (aunque no fuera con su propia flota) las posibilidades de la liberalización del transporte aéreo en la UE.

I'm not such a geek, although some of you may think I am, as to be able to remember which airline was operating between Barcelona and Venice in 1995 with some sort of partnership agreement with Sabena. Could it have been Air Dolomiti?  

In any case, at this time the big national carriers in the EU, the legacies, were obsessed with partnering with as many regionals as possible and putting their own code on all sorts of connections all over the continent, in an attempt to take advantage (even if not with their own fleet) of the opportunities offered by the deregulation of air transport in the EU.
