Berlin Regional UK (1987)

Ya hemos comentado en otros posts las restricciones que había para volar al aeropuerto de Berlin-Tegel, en el lado occidental, antes de la reunificación alemana; esto explica que, a pesar de su nombre, Berlin Regional (más tarde cambió a Berlin European) era una aerolínea británica (y por eso usaba la coletilla UK en el nombre) que volaba desde Tegel a algunos destinos que no estaban cubiertos por las otras compañías occidentales que ya estaban instaladas allí.

We have discussed before here in this blog about the rather strange arrangement at Berlin_tegel which forbid German airlines to fly there. Berlin Regional (later changed to Berlin European) was a British airline (hence the UK in their name) which flew from the Western Berlin airport to a small array of cities not already served by other Western carriers.
