Skyways (1999)

Braathens Sverige (1998/1999)

Otro ejemplo del mapa de alianzas y adquisiciones entre las compañías europeas a finales de los 90;

Braathens was looking forward to becoming a lead player in the late 90's strategic airline merges and alliances game: The Nordic airline was itself aligned with KLM/Northwest and bought the Swedish carrier Transwede which operated using its name and logo until it got merged with Malmö Aviation into a new carrier which was unsurprisingly named Braathens Malmö Aviation

This didn't last long, though. Some time later Braathens ended its Sweden adventure abruptly  and got rid of the airline, which was "renamed" again under its former Malmö name, only that it now included its former domestic rival. Was it a bit confusing?
