Salvo alguna pequeña extravagancia que duró poco como cuando volaron a Dubai, la red de Aer Lingus se ha mantenido con relativamente pocos cambios en las últimas décadas, con una fuerte presencia entre el Reino Unido e Irlanda, un nicho de mercado transatlántico (volando muy a menudo con escala en Shannon) y una presencia en Europa continental relativamente débil. A principios de los 80 mantenían, además, la red de vuelos domésticos y el paso por Lourdes para llegar a algunos destinos del sur de Europa como Barcelona.  Por otro lado, muchos de los destinos en el continente, como los de España,  no tenían servicio en este horario de invierno.

Aer Lingus routemap has not changed much in the last decades, if we forget some exotic moves such as the longhaul services to Dubai they started (and ended soon) some years ago. Aer Lingus has a strong niche in the UK-Ireland routes, a flagship intercontinental service to the USA (often via Shannon) and a quite weak presence in continental Europe. Aer Lingus maintained its domestic network in the early 80's and a sort of mini hub in Lourdes to reach some destinations in southern Europe, such as Barcelona. This was a winter timetable, so many destinations in mainland Europe (including Madrid and Barcelona) had no service during the cold months.

Aer Lingus (1994), España

Edición local para España de Aer Lingus, que entonces apenas tenía un vuelo semanal de Madrid a Dublin (hoy vuela a varias ciudades españolas, a Dublin y también a Londres). En el horario se muestran también algunas conexiones domésticas (que hoy la compañía ya no opera) y las rutas a Londres desde Irlanda.

Spanish edition of the Aer Lingus Timetable. In 1994 they only had a Dublin-Madrid flight, operating once a week (!). Nowadays Aer Lingus flies from several Spanish cities to Dublin and London as well.

The brochure shows some domestic flights (the airline does not fly them any more), as well as the London - Ireland flights.
