Just like other European legacy carriers did, Lufthansa chose to reinvent most of its medium and short range European product and in 2013 launched the "new" Germanwings as it low cost style short haul airline. As you might well know, the Germanwings name became "doomed" after the crash of the 4U 9525 tragedy and this "new" Germanwings was later transformed into the current Eurowings.
This info brochure introduced the "new" (rebranded) airline to the public, trying to cater to both the low fare public as well as pax seeking a wide range of services that of course were already offered by Lufthansa mainline. This is the same approach used by other European carriers such as Iberia with the Express brand (and Level, to some extent), Joon by Air France, etc.

NFD / RFG (1992/1993)

This timetable was issued just before the merger, as both airlines were still using its name and IATA codes (they also codeshared on some routes). In 1992 they were teamed with KLM and Air France and the new merged airline was busy opening new routes in the East Germany market, which as you know had been opened to Western airlines just a few years before.

Eurowings (1997)
Eurowings was the result of the merger of two German regional carriers, RFG and NFD. It was one of the largest European regional airlines, with strong operations at both Dortmund and Nürnberg and strong ties with KLM and Air France. All of this was inherited from the former independient airlines.
Eurowings is now a regional operator which flies under the Lufthansa name. It was also the original owner of the low cost airline Germanwings.
Charter flights and a listing of all Eurowings flights. This was one of the few airlines that landed at Tempelhof airport in Berlin. They were advertising it as "the Berlin airport which is closest to the city centre".
