Northwest "How to find the best seat in the house" (1996)

En una época en la que no existían webs y apps como Seat Guru las aerolíneas editaban este tipo de folletos con la configuración de cabina de los aviones en su flota. 

Este es un recuerdo de la alianza transatlántica entre KLM y Northwest Airlines, con las configuraciones internas de los 747, DC-10 (NW) y MD-11 (KL) empleados por ambas aerolíneas en los vuelos de larga distancia.

At a time when websites and apps such as Seat Guru did not exist, airlines used to publish this type of brochure with the cabin configuration of the aircraft in their fleet. 

This brochure brings some memories of  the transatlantic alliance between KLM and Northwest Airlines. It shows the cabin layouts  of the 747, DC-10 (NW) and MD-11 (KL) used by both airlines on long-haul flights.

Northwest (1988)

Un formato bastante más crudo que el habitual, puesto que está orientado al viajero frecuente. (Por otro lado, en este folleto se incluía información sobre el tipo de avión y mapas de aeropuertos, que no aparecen en el horario destinado al público general)

This Northwest timetable was supposed to be used by frequent travellers, hence the "harsher" , less user-friendly format . On the other hand, this timetable shows aircraft type information and airport maps which are not listed in the Northwest regular system timetable.

Northwest (1999)

Northwest no existe desde que se fusionó con Delta en 2008. Era una de las grandes aerolíneas americanas, con hubs en Detroit, Minneapolis y Memphis. Tenían bastante presencia en Asia (de hecho, su nombre durante un tiempo fue  Northwest Orient Airlines) y fue una de las primeras compañías americanas en participar en una alianza transatlántica; estaban íntimimamente relacionados con KLM desde 1989.

Northwest (since 2008 part of Delta) was one of the American major airlines, with hubs at Memphis, Minneapolis and Detroit. They had a pretty extensive Asian network (they actually used the Northwest Orient Airlines name for a while) and they were one of the first airlines to take part in a transatlantic alliance; since 1989, Northwest had a close relationship with KLM.
