Air Koryo (2013) [completo]
Lo más interesante de este folleto de Air Koryo son la foto de portada y los mapas de cabina de los flamantes TU-204 que utiliza ahora en sus vuelos internacionales.
The most interesting bits of this Air Koryo timetable are the cover picture and the cabin layouts of their TU-204 planes used in international services.
Air Koryo parece bastante orgullosa de su página web, aunque ya no exista y aunque no funcionara mientras estuvo colgada
It seems Air Koryo is pretty prouf of its webpage. It is now offline, but when it was the eticketing was not working.
Como es habitual hoy en día , no se permite fumar en ningún vuelo de Air Koryo. Me ha sorprendido bastante más que se puedan encargar comidas especuales, como las vegetarianas.
Smoking is not allowed on any Air Koryo flight, as in most airlines nowadays. I found much more surprising that you can preorder Vegetarian and other special meals.

Air Koryo (2006/2007) [completo]
Últimamente han entrado varias personas en el blog buscando documentos de Air Koryo, así que hoy vamos a ampliar un poco el contenido en la red con este folleto de 2006 (o del año Juche 95, como prefirais). En realidad, no es nada demasiado interesante (no hay mapas de rutas, planos de cabina, ni siquiera un saludo del querido líder) pero muestra una actividad internacional de la compañía norcoreana relativamente alta teniendo en cuenta su perfil habitual, que es ciertamente bajo. En la temporada de invierno 2006/2007 volaban, además de a su principal destino fuera del país, a Pekin, Vladivostok, Bangkok y a Shengyang en el noroeste de China. La foto de portada muestra un IL6 sobrevolando la capital Pyongyang.

There was an increasing number of visitors landing on this blog that were searching for Air Koryo memorabilia, so I'll post this 2006/2007(or Juche 95/96, whichever you prefer) timetable. It is not actually a big deal, there are not route maps nor cabin plans, not even a brief salutation from the dear leader... It shows, however, that Air Koryo was serving a large number of international destinations at the time, given its habitual low profile. Besides its key destination at Beijing, it also served Bangkok, Shengyang and Vladivostok. The front cover shows an IL6 flying over Pyongyang.

- Aunque tradicionalmente ha sido una compañía bastante hermética (al menos, tanto como el país al que sirve), no lo parece tanto leyendo los artículos sobre algunos tours que han organizado para aficionados de la aviación. Hay varios muy interesantes en airliners.net. Leyéndolos, la calificación de 1 estrella en Skytrax parece ciertamente injusta:
Air Koryo has traditionally not cared much about PR or anything related, and it has always keep quite silent about its activities, pretty much like the country to which it belongs. There have been, however, some very nice trip reports lately in airliners.net, writen by aviation enthusiasts on week trips to North Korea, taking several domestic flights. I really don't think this airline deserves a 1-star Skytrax rating, by reading these reports.- A fascinating aviation week in North Korea

Air Koryo (2011) [completo]
Fue una sorpresa bastante grande enterame hace poco de que Air Koryo tenía una página en Facebook. En realidad, la llevan desde Rusia unos cuantos entusiastas de la aerolínea ... incluso esta empresa tiene sus fans, por lo que parece. Como casi todo lo que viene de Corea del Norte, la información es muy escasa y siempre está sin confirmar.
Estos son los horarios actuales de la empresa, sacados de su página oficial junto con el mapa de cabina de sus nuevos y flamantes TU-204.
I learned recently with great surprise that Air Koryo had a Facebook fanpage ... it seems even this airline has internet fans. It is actually administered by some enthusiasts living in Russia and like any other DPRK news, information is scarce and always almost impossible to check. This is the Air Koryo current schedule , taken from their webpage, also showing a cabin diagram for their brand new TU-204.
Como sabéis, Air Koryo está en la lista negra de aerolíneas de la UE, pero parece ser que no es así para los nuevos TU-204 que volverán a volar a Berlín el verano próximo...
Hablando de los Tu-204, este es el vídeo de seguridad que se proyecta a bordo de esos aviones. Si nos olvidamos de que es un avión "impulsado por la ideología Juche" y por las ideas del Querido Líder, en realidad está bastante bien hecho y en todo caso es una curiosidad que vale la pena ver.
As yo may know, Air Koryo is on the EU black list, bit it seems the ban does not apply for the TU-204 and the airline will fly again to Berlin again next summer.
If you are curious about the Air Koryo planes, here is their TU-204 safety video. It is actually pretty well done, and it is worth watching if you forget these planes are impulsed under the Juche ideas of the Great Dear Lider :-p
