INAER (2010)

INAER es el nombre actual de la empresa española de helicópteros que opera entre Ceuta y Málaga, de la que hablamos en un post recientemente. Es el resultado de la fusión entre Helisureste y Helicsa. Estos son unos horarios del año en curso sacados de su web.

Recientemente, han añadido un destino a su red al comenzar a operar al recién inaugurado helipuerto de Algeciras.

I published recently a post about the Spanish helicopter airline between Ceuta and Málaga. Now, after merging with another helicopter carrier (Helicsa), the airline changed its name to INAER. This is their current summer timetable, taken from their website.

INAER has recently added a new destination to its network, as they are now flying to the newly built Algeciras heliport.

HSE Helisureste (1999)

Seguramente es porque nunca he volado en helicóptero, pero me fascinan las empresas que operan vuelos regulares con estos aparatos ... España es, de hecho, uno de los pocos países donde (todavía) se operan vuelos domésticos en helicóptero, y de hecho son vuelos relativamente largos.

Helisureste (el nombre actual de la empresa es INAER) operaba entre Málaga y el helipuerto de Ceuta, otro exclave español en el norte de África. Si no recuerdo mal, había una oferta de tarifas conjuntas con Iberia/Aviaco desde Málaga para continuar viaje a otros puntos de la Península.

I've never flown an helicopter, so probably that's why I am fascinated about airlines that fly scheduled services with helicopters. Actually, Spain is one of the few countries where there are some scheduled helicopter flights: Helisureste flew from Málaga to Ceuta, another Spanish exclave in northern Africa,using Bell 412 helicopters. (The airline now trades as INAER) If I recall correctly, there were joint Iberia/Aviaco and Helisureste fares so that passengers could fly fron Malaga to other destinations in the Spanish mainland.

Durante algún tiempo, Helisureste volaba entre Malta y Gozo, cubriendo la ruta que antes servía la filial de Air Malta, Malta Air Charter, pero ya no opera esa ruta y que yo sepa ya no hay vuelos domésticos en helicóptero en Malta.

For some time, Helisureste operated on the Malta-Gozo route, previously operated by Air Malta subsidiary Malta Air Charter. As long as I know, Helisureste does not fly in Malta any more, nor are there any domestic helicopter scheduled services any longer.
