Este folleto corresponde al breve periodo de tiempo (2002-2004) en el que Condor, la antigua filial de Lufthansa, voló bajo el nombre y la librea de Thomas Cook, aunque añadían la coletilla "powered by Condor". La marca y el nombre son tan populares en Alemania que los recuperaron poco después.

Incluso hoy en día, Condor ha presentado recientemente su nueva librea, coherente con la del grupo pero manteniendo su nombre.

The Condor name and brand are so strong in Germany that the airline, which once was a Lufthansa leisure subsidiary, only kept the Thomas Cook name and livery for a very short time, between 2002 and 2004. Even then, the "powered by condor" was added as a tagline after the Thomas Cook name.

Even today, Condor has recently introduced its new livery, which follows the group scheme, but keeping its own name.

Ya hemos comentado alguna vez que durante un breve tiempo la antigua aerolínea charter de Lufthansa pasó a llamarse Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) ...Aunque sigue siendo en la actualidad una filial de Thomas Cook, muy poco después recuperó el nombre Condor, que tenía mucho más valor para el mercado alemán. Esta tarjeta postal para el mercado canario corresponde al breve periodo en el que la compañía cambió de nombre, y en concreto cuando se estaba intentando introducir la nueva marca.

This postcard was intended for the Canary Islands market and it was issued when Condor, the former Lufthansa leisure flights subsidiary, changed its name to Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor). Condor is still a Thomas Cook owned airline, but the Condor name was strong enough in the German market to revert the name change after a very short while.
