Olympic Airlines (2004)

Han pasado muchísimas cosas en estos 10 años desde que se publicó este folleto, lo que nos deja una extraña sensación agridulce.

En 2004, Olympic Airlines era la "nueva" compañía griega, heredera de Olympic Airways y aunque ya no era exactamente la aerolínea de los cinco continentes, aun tenía una red bastante extensa y operaba otros destinos de larga distancia en código compartido.

2004 fue el año de los JJOO de Atenas (es increíble ver como ha cambiado el mundo, y ya no digamos Grecia y la UE desde entonces) y Olympic lo celebraba por todo lo grande con este horario, presentando su avión con librea especial y el recientemente renovado aeropuerto de Atenas.

The world has enormously changed 10 years after the publishing of this timetable, something which gives me a strange bitersweet feeling.

By 2004, Olympic Airlines was the "new" Greek flag carrier, the succesor of Olympic Airways, and it still had a fairly large longhaul and international network, even if it was not any longer the airline of the five continents and some longhaul destinations were codeshares. 

This was the year when the Athens Olympic games were held (no need to stress how much Greece, or the UE for that matter, had changed since then) and Olympic was proudly advertising them, with their special Olympic livery on cover and an upgraded Athens airport.

Cubana (2013)

Nada de muchachas sonrientes con flores esta vez... un flamante AN-158 que, junto con el TU-204 forma parte de una muy renovada flota de Cubana. Cuelgo este horario completo, que lamentablemente no tiene mapas ni planos de cabina.

No smiling girls with flowers this time ... Just a brand new AN-158 on cover, with alongside the TU-204 has recently joined the Cubana fleet. I'm posting the whole  complete schedule, which sadly does not include cabin plans nor route maps.

Air Nostrum (1996/1997)

El otro día encontré algunas cosas de la rueda de prensa que dio Air Nostrum en Vigo cuando comenzaron a operar el vuelo VGO-BIO-VLC (una ruta calcada a la que había operado Aviaco varios años) incluyendo una de las primeras revistas Aladierno de la compañía, con mucha información (y mucho autobombo ...) sobre sus aviones, sus líneas y su producto.

I recently found an Air Nostrum promo folder with some brochures which was handled out when the airline started its Vigo-Bilbao-Valencia flight (Aviaco had been flying the very same route for years before) . There was an Aladierno inflight magazine which was loaden with info about the airline, including route maps, cabin plans and also lots and lots of self praise about their onboard product.
