La vuelta a donde todo comenzó : "To fly. To serve"

Me encanta el precioso nuevo anuncio de British Airways (en realidad, lo único que no me gusta es el tono épico que le pretende dar el narrador).En una época en la que volar en avión parece que ya no tiene nada de emocionante ni de aventurero, está muy bien que de vez en cuando compañías que llevan mucho tiempo volando echen la vista atrás y nos recuerden como empezó todo. Al mismo tiempo, BA recupera su lema "To Fly. To Serve" que utilizaba al menos hasta mediados de los 80.

Back to when it all started : I really like this nice TV spot by British Airways. Well, if there is a single thing I don't like, is the epic tone used by the narrator. Otherwise, it is a brilliant short film. Just taking a plane might not seem adventurous or even exciting for many nowadays, so it is a good idea to think how it all began, for a while. Also, British Airways is again using their old "To fly. To serve" motto which was used at least until the mid 80's. 

En apenas un minuto y medio se mencionan muchas cosas, como que BA es la heredera de las antiguas BEA y BOAC y un repaso a su flota histórica, incluyendo, cómo no, el Concorde que fue su aeronave insignia durante bastante tiempo.

There are many facts shown in just about one minute and a half, including the BEA and BOAC heritage, and also a fast-paced review of BA historical fleet, including its former flagship Concorde.


Otro anuncio que me gusta bastante, y que me recuerda un poco a este de BA, es el que usó Qantas para anunciar la introducción del A380:
