TAT was a major French regional carrier, and in the late 80's it operated many flights under an Air France / Air Inter franchise, even if it maintained its own independent operation. AF also had a minor stake in the TAT shares.
It later changed its name to TAT European Airlines and became one of British Airways-controlled airlines in Europe. Even later it was merged with another BA company, Air Liberté, and ended as an airline on its own in 1996.
Most French domestic airlines used the same day colouring scheme which was invented by ✈Air Inter, which was in turn based on the same system European railway companies used. There were "blue", "red" and "white" days, and fare level and avialable discounts were different depending on which colour each day had.
