We have discussed before here in this blog about the rather strange arrangement at Berlin_tegel which forbid German airlines to fly there. Berlin Regional (later changed to Berlin European) was a British airline (hence the UK in their name) which flew from the Western Berlin airport to a small array of cities not already served by other Western carriers.
