As you know, ✈Brussels Airlines has managed to stay a float, partly due to its African network, and only recently has restarted its shy comeback to the North American market...
This is why Sabena once was looks even more impressive today. The long-standing proud flag carrier of this small country once flew to Africa, Asia and destinations in North America. Brussels was an intercontinental hub, sort of, even if not exactly of what comes to mind today when we say "intercontinental hub".
Besides the well known quick reference format, this Sabena booklet also included the whole longhaul schedules in a tabular section. This allows us to marvel at the impressive network, which included for example a weekly Brussels-Manila flight, via Dubai, Mumbai and Bangkok ...
The company served also South America, Mexico and Guatemala city.....
