Lacsa 1987 advertisement, showing its Boeing 727 and route map. They were in a partnership with Isleña airways to provide online connections to the Honduras bay islands in the Caribbean. Roatan is a well known touristic destination. At the time Isleña was not the only Honduran carrier flying there (it was also served by Sahsa); Nowadays, Isleña is a regional Taca affiliate.

1989 Taca advertisements from their inflight magazine, announcing their flights to the Bay Islands and to Belize. The later also shows the 767 they were flying at the time. Taca used Belize as an intermediate stop in its flights to the USA. This was their route map at the time (source : Aerolineas Mex)

I just love this TACA ticket jacket. By the way, airline-branded ticket jackets are becoming a quite rare sight nowadays...

The "this seat is occupied" was a 80's classic

These last images are from the early Grupo Taca days, when the Taca Perú was set up and Taca started its global coverage of the Americas.

LTU (1987)

Looking at this 1987 LTU timetable you can get a good overview of the German summer holiday scene in the late 80's. Flights would depart from either Düsseldorf or München and would head to destinations in Greece, Ibiza and southern Spain and Portugal. There were some long-haul destinations as well. Red LTU planes at Düsseldorf airport were a common sight back then. LTU is now part of the Air Berlin group and to some extent it is still alive flying intercontinental flights on behalf od Air Berlin. The Air Berlin long distance network is actually built over the former LTU one when it still was an independient carrier.

Condor (2008)

This Condor timetable included also Eurocypria, Sun Express and (now defunct) Hamburg International flights.

Condor was using its own brandname in 2008. It had used the Thomas Cook name for a while, but the Condor name was more familiar for the German travelling public. The Thomas Cook logo was still placed at the aircraft's tails, though (just look at the pictures under the cabin maps)

I just would like who was the marketing genious who came with the "Flies" theme for the Condor marketing items. Just like in English, the german word for "fly" (the flying insect) is just the same as the verb "to fly", so "Ich liebe Fliegen" would be either "I love flying" or "I love flies". An easy wordplay, but the images are just plain disgusting, IMHO.

In 1998, Aeroperú was still under Aeroméxico rule. Actually, most destinations south from Costa Rica were operated by this airline. There is little information on this timetable, other than the AM* denoting codeshare flights, and the small Alas de America logo that is placed in the Aeromexpress (a cargo operator) banners. Aeromexico was still flying to Paris and Madrid in Europe. Other destinations, such as Frankfurt, were flown in partnership with Delta via Atlanta.

This is the only timetable I know of that includes a "reader" / user customer survey. Personally, I would give this timetable a 7 out of 10. There is place for improvement, but is OK-ish.
