In 1976, British Airways was still a "young" airline as a result of the merge of BOAC and BEA in 1974. British airways and British Caledonian were fighting each other those years, with economical looses for both parts, until they decided to stop competing in the long haul market.
These are some local city timetables for airports in the UK issued in 1976; some airline codes, such as NS, are unknown to me. They appear listed as British Airways, but I guess they were some kind of commuter airline operating on their behalf. Enlaces (links)
