"El Revuelo", by the way, is a not-so-good pun: Revuelo means stir in Spanish, but also can be understood as "fly again" (the prefix re- meaning duplication)

El "revuelo" de Meridiana (1991)
En 1991, Meridiana fue la primera aerolínea española que se atrevió tímidamente a romper el monopolio de Iberia y sus filiales con vuelos desde Barcelona y Valencia. Este es un folleto anunciando su promoción "El Revuelo", una especie de programa de viajero frecuente primitivo o más bien una especie de 2x1 según la cual te regalaban un vuelo por cada trayecto de ida y vuelta en su Electa Club
Meridiana Air was the first Spanish airline that tried to broke into the monopoly once held by Iberia and its subsidiaries, starting in 1991 a scheduled service from Barcelona and Valencia. "El revuelo" was a sort of primitive frequent flyer program, or more precisely, a "buy one, get two" offer. The airline was giving out free flights for every return ticket bought on their premium cabin Electa Club .
