I am not really sure about Skynet being a sensible name for an airline after watching all those Terminator films ...
Anyhow, Skynet was a small oddity of a little airline. It was backed up by Aeroflot and it codeshared with the Russian carrier. The idea was to build a paneuropean network which would be an Aeroflot foothold in the European air market, based at Shannon airport (a well known stopover for intercontinental flight routes)

It turned out that most of this never happened and the only route ever operated by Skynet was Shannon-Amsterdam-Moscow, connecting with some Aeroflot flights.
